hello! I’m Rebecca.
I am a visual storyteller with over a decade of design experience.
I studied Graphic Design at the University of Illinois at Chicago where I explored the art of design. Some of my favorite projects came from this exploration, including Ascend, Suennen Sans, and Chip Kidd: Designing Books is No Laughing Matter. Check out Signs of Evanston if you want to see my visual love letter to my hometown.
When I wasn’t telling stories with typography, I was working part-time as a graphic designer on the in-house Marketing team at the McGaw YMCA. I was promoted and joined the team full-time upon graduation. At the YMCA, I oversaw all digital and print design projects from concept to completion. Projects included their Branding & Wayfinding, Camp Echo Branding, and the Annual Report.
I currently work full-time as the Senior Graphic Designer at Thermos L.L.C. with a focus on product and packaging design.
When I'm not designing, you'll probably find me snuggled with my dog Frankie, traveling to new worlds with a good book, antiquing with my husband, or trying out a new recipe from the latest cooking competition show.
